Now a days, we have all sorts of doomsday scenarios to call upon to liven up seemingly mundane situations. However, back in 1652, there was no nuclear holocaust to be caused, no zombies to be eaten by. Now I realize the plague and smallpox could work on the Indian side of things, but Europeans had developed an immunity.
Please, help me destroy the colonial world in a creative fashion, it doesn't have to make a terribly large amount of sense.

Steampunk is awesome...

But in reply to the original post...

Massive meteor or comet impact(s). The tunguska incident for example. Yellow stone park erupting? Alien invasion?
I am voting for Innomen because of his intelligence, common sense, humility and the fact that Juggle appears to listen to him. Any other Presidential style would have a large sub-section of the site up in arms. If I was President I would destroy the site though elitism, others would let it run riot. Innomen represents a middle way that works, neither draconian nor anarchic and that is the only way things can work. Plus he does it all without ego trips.

Great Brit. and France fight, as usual, but this time, everyone else joins in for fun.
Cue random AIDS explosion.
With all the blood and guts flying around, everyone gets AIDS and dies.
The end.

I don't see why you can't have Colonial zombies...

...but if you really don't want to use Zombies (something must be wrong with you if you don't) any natural disaster would work, floods most likely. A comet hitting the Earth and causing an ice age works too.

But seriously. ZOMBIES
