New era of gaming.

I posted this same suggestion on the "Games" forum thread, but it was so flooded with bloody mafia games that it got hardly looked at. Anyway, here it is:

Firstly, I think we can agree that arcade gaming - traditionally speaking - is pretty dead currently.

So here is my thought: What if companies invest in new arcade virtual reality games that you normally couldn't play at home? Since such virtual reality games would need big computers to run and lots of maintenance, it would be basically impossible to have virtual reality computer games sold commercially (currently anyway), so we could dedicate arcades to these types of games that are too powerful to keep privately!

That'd be a great idea. The Oculus Rift will (hopefully) spark much greater interest in VR.

The rich kids would be able to pay the $1,000 per hour costs to play the games, too.
