If you have any opinions regarding homeopathic medicine (whether you're for or against it), go to http://westernmeds.weebly.com... and post your opinion on the blogs page!

All perspectives are welcomed! Thank you.

Well, there is little real question about its effectiveness - its not. Yes, by definition it is a "hoax" sure.

I once swallowed 6 bottle-fulls of homeopathy pills, nothing happened. It's a hoax that should be done away with, it involves a lot of pseudo-science. It's stupid how such a scam is legally sold in stores. It's child abuse to actually feed children homeopathy over real medicine.

How is using lemons to cure scurvy a hoax? Doesn't that count as homeopathic?

I don't think anyone would classify treating vitamin C deficiencies with things like lemons or oranges as Homeopathy.

Homeopathy in modern usage just means "natural cures" right?

Not really because there are many natural remedies that aren't considered homeopathic, like honey and ginger. Homeopathy is a pseudo-science that implies water has a memory.
