So, according to one source, 2.5 million soldiers served in the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars. There are calls for an Afghanistan and Iraq War memorial to be built, though under certain rules Congress may not authorize such a thing until the war has been over for X number of years (so basically because the U.S. is, for instance, maintaining 5,500 troops in Afghanistan it may not count as being over yet).
Thoughts?

There should be a forced time wait. That helps to ensure that we are not acting out of emotional responses.
