I've taken it upon myself to establish a DDO Mafia Ladder, which involves going back through all the games and working out who won...

To save myself reading thousands of pages, I basically blazed through the 70 odd pages of miscellaneous and looked for mafia games that were properly organised and had result pages, though a few long games didn't have them and I had to search through DP's to work out who won. SO! Here is what I've found.
I basically gave the victory to the person who was playing at the end. If you were replaced, you didn't win.
I didn't include PM games, if someone wants to make a PM game ladder, be my guest.
I might have missed a few third-party victories or made some other mistakes, so feel free to correct me.
Also, there are games that were significantly long but I couldn't work out exactly who won. (The GoT game for example, the last DP makes it seem like town won, but the results page says mafia won and I couldn't work out who all the mafia were... ect) If you were involved in any of those games, PLEASE help me out and post the winners.

I've won in several games that did not take place on the forums but in the PM's.

I have won more than I have lost. I have neither the time nor the inclination to search through my mafia experience, but I know I have won more than lost.

Ha - according to your list I have six wins. However, I have picked up a couple more in PM mafias and may have won one of the mafias in which you are unsure of the results.

Indeed. I'm not counting PM games (soz) and I can hardly add wins that I don't know about. If you want to go through any of the ones I don't have results for, feel free.

I'm eventually going to build this into a nice database, since I've done a lot of the boring ground work today. At the moment it's only Player, Score. :P

I'm going over everything again and building an access database of all the mafia game information. Once I've got it all, I've already got the webapp to display it all nicely. Anyone know of a good, free webhosting site?

I lost in all the ones that you included. if you had askbob's newb games in your ladder I won 2 of those, but I understand why one would not count those.

Haha, I don't play games 10 hours a day every day, or even often for that matter. I was trying to make a point about PS3 and it's large list of engrossing games.

I don't need a girlfriend. Girls are a pain in the arse.

I counted any game that looked like it went on for a reasonable amount of time or had a results page. If you can help me out, that would be awesome.

Any game that I haven't counted can be added as long as you can give a link to the results. I encourage people to search for games that I've missed.

A 15/17 split is pretty good in terms of balance. I could also probably look up the results of my PM games for you.

BUMP!

So I've continued to work on the mafia database, but I'm getting frustrated and I need some help. I need two or three people to volunteer to do some data collecting with me.
My problem is that with people replacing other people, I have multiple instances of the same player in games and it's stuffing up my statistics.
If you are bored and can dedicate a few scattered hours to helping me, I'd very much appreciate it. It will basically involve going through all the first pages of various mafia dayphases and tracking which players were in the game at the start, who replaced who and who were the winners and losers at the end. If possible, what roles everyone was as well.
It's going to take a few days/weeks to accurately collect all the mafia data, but once it's done it won't ever have to be done again (because I'll keep back-ups of the data on my HDD) and keeping it up-to-date with new mafia games will only take an hour or two a week!

PM me if you are interested.
