Is anyone else having problems accessing the Record attempt at most posts blog?

I'm fixing it right now. I have to build a temp table, should be done in 15-20 minutes. Try again at that time.

That should do it. When there are over 300,000 posts in the database, it can begin to slow down large paging queries (ie: a forum with over 6,000 posts). In order to fix the problem you have to first put all of the records for the specific query in a temp database table and then perform the paging query against it. In essence, it's a lot faster to find the 10 records you want to see in 6,000 posts rather than in 300,000 posts. There's your SQL lesson for the day.
