In spirit of the whole FOX issue (See: Outfoxed), I got a little chuckle out of TIME magazine's poll that declared Jon Stuart to have gotten voted America's Most Trusted Newscaster since the passing of Walter Cronkite.

From the anchors on ABC, CBS, or NBC:
-Charles Gibson (ABC)
http://abcnews.go.com...

I like David Gregory, Moderator of Meet the Press (NBC)
http://www.msnbc.msn.com...

Also: Chris Wallace, Host of Fox News Sunday
http://www.foxnews.com...

Jake Tapper is by far the best Senior White House News Correspondent (ABC)
http://abcnews.go.com...

Favorite channel from ABC, CBS, or NBC:
1) ABC
-CBS is unwatchable because of Katie Couric.
-NBC is unwatchable for extreme liberal slant.

Favorite channel from CNN, MSNBC, FNC:
1) FNC
-I just can't stand watching CNN or MSNBC. But, I do watch Chris Matthews and sometimes Rachel Maddow to get the liberal side of stories. I usually check Huffington Post a couple times a day to make sure I hear the liberal side.

My favourite newscasters are as follows (not in any order):

Suhana Meharchand - CBC News: Today
http://www.cbc.ca...

Peter Mansbridge: The National (CBC)
http://www.cbc.ca...

Bob McKweon: the fifth estate (CBC)
http://www.cbc.ca...

Keith Olbermann: Countdown with Keith Olbermann (MSNBC)
http://www.msnbc.msn.com...

As you can see, I'm very biased towards my Canadian network.

I cannot bear to watch CNN. Lou Dobbs went way over the line when he actually personally said that illegal immigrants are rapists and gangsters.

I've worked on farms alongside "wetbacks." They are very good, very hard-working people who are willing to toil away far more than any gringo could so they can provide for their families. The vast majority are not running drugs, gang members or rapists.

NOOOO!!!!!!!! C'mon Volkov. Chris Matthews is 10x smarter and 10x more intellectual. He actually debates opponents and doesn't produce ad hominems the whole show.

Cute anchor.

An explanation for the poll resuts perhaps is that he is the most recognizable name there.

I like Keith because he amuses me, and he's controversial. Matthews also comes on at times I'm watching other shows so....

But he is a very good newscaster when I've seen him. Olbermann gets my vote because it just makes me laugh, plus when the ad hominems aren't produced, the information is fairly interesting. I always try to check the other side of the story when I care enough to.

I see. I watch Glenn Beck maybe once or twice a week for that reason. He is a pretty funny guy.

The reason Stewart is trusted is because his viewership (i.e. advertisement i.e. money) does not rely on distorting the truth and/or only reporting the "interesting" stuff.

My favorites are:
Rachel Maddow
Bill O'REilly
John Hannity

Because they're all hilarious and hypocritical.
There are three types of lies: lies, damn lies, and statistics"
-Mark Twain

"If at first you don't succeed, redefine success"

"Therefore love moderately. Long love doth so.
Too swift arrives as tardy as too slow."
- William Shakespeare

"There must be no majority decisions, but only responsible persons, and the word 'council' must be restored to its original meaning. Surely every man will have advisers by his side, but the decision will be made by one man."
- Adolf Hitler

RM is funny as hell but way too liberal for my blood. Bill O'Reilly is literally a joke of a human being. The only person worse than him is Glenn Beck. But anyway, John is such a faggot punk lol. I like Campbell Brown as #1 for sure, Lou Dobbes and Larry King. Anderson Cooper is adorable and remains pretty objective.

Come on, Lwerd... Be fair... John Hannity is worse than O'Reilly, too.

Correction: He TRIES to be. But Bill's got the experience and the upper hand. He appeals to an older crowd as well, and has a bigger name/reputation. Plus he's louder, and is funnier when he's angry.

Nobody seems to complain about Special Report. That is good.
It is odd when one's capacity for compassion is measured not in what he is willing to do by his own time, effort, and property, but what he will force others to do with their own property instead.

I kind of meant the people here, Nags. Clearly someone watches or else it wouldn't be on the air.

But those are interesting ratings. I'd like to see Mad Money's ratings before and after Jim Cramer was used to wipe the floor with on the Daily Show.

Alright, most people don't watch it on DDO, hence why it was never mentioned. That doesn't necessarily mean people won't have bad things to say about it, if they ever see it.

Mind you, I wouldn't have a clue; I stopped watching FOX after I moved from antannae to cable.
