Seriously, I would be inclined to be sympathetic if a homeless person was not paying them, but she was doing this crap? Really?

I don't think that's news for Saudi royalty, they oversee human rights abuse and corruption on a daily basis.

It's really sad that they do things like this. They could be helping the people (the ones who fund them!)

Well, thats what goes on in the Middle East.

Sad to say, but its the truth. :(

Personally, I would feel guilty if I didn't give huge amounts to charity.

It's worse than a private business not helping the poor. These people have wealth because they obtain the funds of the citizens. They are abusing the citizens for their personal entertainment.

We have people in government that get our money, without our say, and are unable to be removed in any way except for death, in the amounts they get them?

I know.

I mean, if I was uber-rich, I wouldn't know what to do with all the money

I read somewhere that a lot of millions+ give an insane amount of their income to charity, like 50%+.

They are filthy rich on oil money, not directly on the backs of their citizens.
They just took the opposite approach of Qatar and squander their wealth, rather than invest in their citizens.

How wouldn't you know? Let's think of a few: Reinvest in the community, give to the poor, fund public services, reinforce infastructure, the list can go on indefinitely.

There are a lot fewer philanthopists than you like to believe. The only reason why it seems that so many of the wealthy class give their money away is because they do so to cloak their methods of gaining said wealth. Many high-end CEOs have(also had) their salaries set at $1 to avoid the Federal Income tax (examples: Steve Jobs, Lee Iacocca, John Chambers, ect ect).

This really looks like an exaggeration.

I mean, I know it's not. But, it's just so hyperbolic. He's bathing in money, gesturing with it, giving it to people without looking at them or speaking to them.

It's like...

Lol? Why criticize, though? When the Occupy Wall Street protestors were pointing out the same exact shiit here, people derided them.

So, for everyone who commented that they can be helping people? Why would they? No one wants them to.
