haha it's a science article. I don't think there is a right wing agenda here. Though I could be wrong.

Anyways, interesting article. Habitable planets are obviously rare and apparently these have many of the criteria to sustain some kind of life.

I bet the two planets are at war with each other.
Beliefs in a nutshell:
- The Ends never justify the Means.
- Objectivity is secondary to subjectivity.
- The War on Drugs is the worst policy in the U.S.
- Most people worship technology as a religion.
- Computers will never become sentient.

Imagine how much more interesting modern history would have been if we had a really close habitable planet next door...

This is an intriguing article, but something doesn't sit right that these "scientists" are comparing the potential climates of entire planets to that of given states during a given season.

I like how this thread reconfirms how conducive preconceived notions are for ignorance.

I like how the scientist in the article assumes that life must be extremely advanced if it exists there.
