haha it's a science article. I don't think there is a right wing agenda here. Though I could be wrong.

Anyways, interesting article. Habitable planets are obviously rare and apparently these have many of the criteria to sustain some kind of life.

*sees thread*
*becomes excited that new planets exist for life*
*sees Fox also believes new planets exist for life*
*leaves thread, no longer believing planets can harbor life*
*Has to be convinced once again that Earth is a planet that harbors life*

I bet the two planets are at war with each other.

I wouldn't doubt it if they are anything like us.

Imagine how much more interesting modern history would have been if we had a really close habitable planet next door...

One for tyranny, oppression and control freaks and one for self reliant freedom lovers. Man that would be great.
Beware of the people who are in your circle but are not in your corner.

And with the stroke of a pen people 18 to 21 who own a gun became criminals and public enemy #1 having committed no crime and having said nothing. Just like the Jews in Germany during WW2. Must be a weird feeling.

When I hear people crying and whining about their first world problems I think about the universe with everything in it and people in wheelchairs and all of their problems go away.

This is an intriguing article, but something doesn't sit right that these "scientists" are comparing the potential climates of entire planets to that of given states during a given season.

I like how this thread reconfirms how conducive preconceived notions are for ignorance.

I like how the scientist in the article assumes that life must be extremely advanced if it exists there.
