I remember glancign at the headline of a newspaper today which contained a promised by the head of the opposition in my country he would basically lead a revolution if there was another bank bail-out.

http://www.braypeople.ie...

Now, Enda Kenny, the leader of the opposition is not only a flip-flopper, but the textbook definition of attention-seeker. He makes bold statements like this to appear tough, but in reality a revolution probably won't succeed. Oh well.

Saying 'Euros' is for tourists.

Euro is the grammatically incorrect but natural way to say it. Besides, the plural is implied.

Besides, this could be the wave the Libertarians such as yourself want to catch.

Haha, I guess one could tell who is a tourist based on whether they say "Euro" or "Euros". I will admit, I am guilty of the latter and regularly said "Euros" while in Europe.

From the article:

"The Fine Gael leader said people can no longer tolerate massive public funding of the nationalised bank as it stands."

The Fine Gael leader should realize that any system that becomes nationalized also becomes a money sink. No government organization is efficient except for the military...where orders must be followed and everybody has to do their job. Work at a government bank...all you have to do is show up...and you can't be easily fired for not performing.

Big government kills many a country. That's just my opinion.
