This is pretty cool actually: http://news.nationalgeographic.com...

Would you ever try something like this, if you had the funds and the time?

If I won the lottery, that's probably what I'd do.

Eh...there are better uses for lottery money. If I were Bill Gates and I could freeze time, I would do it.

That would be fun :) But I really don't need to visit every country...I could skip some places...like Sudan, for instance.

I'd probably skip Saudi Arabia... and Iran (unless they changed their policy of hanging gay people in the street).

But otherwise... there aren't many places in the world I wouldn't like to visit.

There are quite a few I wouldn't want to visit...Most of Africa, most of Asia, the Caribbean...

I'd love to see Africa... even if it is violent and dangerous. Especially sub-saharan africa. I laugh in the face of danger. Ha ha ha!

I love you, but there are only 4 countries in Africa I would ever set foot it: South Africa, Namibia, Botswana (I actually really want to go to Botswana), and Tunisia. Maybe Egypt if it calms down.

Maybe. I don't think so because I would not want to go to countries that are in war/chaos, extremely undeveloped, and those that are downright insane. If I had the time and money I would probably spend it on something that effects both me and society in a positive way rather than going to countries that pose risks to my health (IE: Most of Africa) and may be a large waste of money in the long run.

Cool thread!

There are tours you can take...they're highly supervised, but you can do them. I even know someone who studied abroad there...
