An undercover video released this morning shows a national leader of Planned Parenthood admitting that the abortion provider uses the illegal and highly controversial partial birth abortion procedure to sell intact fetal body parts.

The average asking price for fetal body parts? Between $30 and $100 per specimen.

Dr. Deborah Nucatola has been senior director of medical services at Planned Parenthood since February 2009, where she oversees medical practices at all Planned Parenthood affiliates nationwide. She has been employed by Planned Parenthood for more than a decade. She also performs abortions up to 24 weeks in Los Angeles.

While casually sipping wine and eating salad, Dr. Nucatola revealed that she charges $30 to $100 per specimen, and that fetal livers are especially in demand " although "a lot of people want intact hearts these days," and she has had requests for lungs and "lower extremities."

If this is true, well, it's human nature. Human beings are very capable of doing some very evil and twisted things. Especially if you consider that these fetus organs being transported around town and across seas are only one step away from real baby parts.
In all actuality, the trafficking of human body parts has been going on for many years. In some countries, homeless people sleep with one eye open, wondering if they'll be killed next, and their organs sold on the black market for 20 grand a piece.
There has even been speculations that a portion of missing people are really just being killed for their organs, and then discarded in the woods or ocean.
It makes sense. When people have no principles, and when they can work within a black market and have very little chance of being caught by the law, they are capable of doing some horrific things.
Does the sex slave trade come to mind? I personally cannot understand how a father, with a daughter of his own, could actually be part of the sex trade, knowing that innocent lives are being ruined, forever, and that many times these kidnapped girls are murdered or thrown in basements for many years. This is an unspeakable horror.

Wow. For once I agree with you.

Anyone with a clear mind can see the evil in this world. Sadly, it doesn't surprise me that such dealings take place. Perhaps that says all that needs to be said. Change needs to happen; and I'm not talking about this socialist, f*ck our international standing, drone-warfare, change that Obama brought about.

This world needs a true leader. The question is what is the definition of a *true* leader. I lean towards Plato's conception of a Philosopher-King, but that's just my own thoughts, lol.

Because a woman's right to kill has become sacrosanct - thus PP cannot be found to be doing evil.

Planned Parenthood so far claims that this is a lie and that the video was heavily edited. Be kind of careful when proclaiming this kind of stuff as proven fact. Congress is now launching an investigation; hopefully the truth will be known soon enough.

This just proves that science has no moral compass. As the claim is they are being used for research. One can justify anything in the name of research such as harvesting aborted dead baby parts. Real classy science community, real classy.

Hey if aborting 40 million lives year and harvesting their organs for research saves one life then it is worth it.

I suppose it was to be expected; PP don't think the foetus has any rights, and so they would see nothing wrong with profiteering from its dead body. They're wrong of course, but it just goes to show the natural consequence of denying a foetus its rights.

When I first heard of this, I thought that $30-100 was a really low charge. As it turns out, it's for shipping. Then I thought that this thread started out highly skewed, as in referring to the practice as trafficking in body parts. Nope, nothing like that at all. Body parts trafficking involves providing working organs for transplants, not for research. But then reading down the posts, seems that hyperbole is common. That's a sign of not having a strong argument, so revert to demonizing. In simple language, not very convincing, more like preaching to the choir. But I do think that the thread serves to bolster the argument for keeping abortion legal, so what's the deal? Reverse psychology of sorts? The Donald seems to be doing a similar thing, but it could also just be his huge ego getting its yah-yahs out.

But who knows, the Republican Congress might remove PP funding. That won't stop PP, as it already operates on donations to an extent. An unintended consequence might be backlash against religious organizations, as in lowering memberships and loss of tax exemption status. After all, if you don't want to fund abortions, why should I pick up the taxation slack for religions? I can't think of a good reason to do so.

Just for the record, I don't like abortions. They should only be done as a last resort, much like waging war should be the last option. However, without effective, affordable, and available contraception, the abortion rate will remain high. The parallel is that without skilfull diplomacy, we'll have more and longer wars.

It might be true that the base reasoning has to do with birthing more cannon fodder for our wars. If so, that is a very sick sort of reasoning. Since that is evil on a grand scale, I'll give the benefit of the doubt. But it does leave a begging question:

How is this country going to handle the extra population, should abortion become illegal, when it can't handle what it already has? Or is having an impoverished population somehow desirable? I guess that'd provide more good consumers, in that all the income would go to consumption. The misery karmic overhead would be enormous, but then maybe that will give religious people more opportunities to help the poor. You know, as in donate all you have to them to earn your place in Paradise.

Anyway, I'm not seeing a whole lot of thinking this thing through. It's pretty much you think abortion is wrong, so don't let anyone do it. Great for you, not so great for others. Hey, I think firearm ownership is wrong too, but I don't want to make firearms illegal. I just don't want to own them because they're killing machines that too often get turned on families by people in the families or known by the families.

So if you don't like abortion, don't ever have one or advise anyone else to have one.

My Driver License states: Organ Donor

When I am dead, it will not matter how they take my organs or for what purpose they are used.

I would hope they would take them in such a manner as to preserve as many of the most important ones. PP removes the fetus in ways that preserves as many of the most important parts as possible.

Apparently some people think it's better for society to have a woman take a coat hanger and self abort and then flush the fetus down the toilet or throw it in a dumpster.
Think
