Thoughts? I'm curious if ever Pro-life supporters think this is too far.

It's the logical conclusion of their premise. From the moment of conception a human organism exists that has a right to life, a right to life of the kind that trumps any and all interests/concerns/rights of the woman.

Ergo, abortion is murder.

I don't dispute their logic, I just think the premise it's built on is bullsh*t to begin with.

'Right to life' what living creature does not have the right to life?
The battle for life is what natural selection is all about but to live we must kill in many ways. The thousands that die each day from starvation have a right to life.
The thousands killed each day on the roads have a right to life.
Those who can't afford expensive medicine have a right to life.

Isn't that...exactly what was prohibited by Roe v. Wade?

No not at all but I do recognise a capitalist world, and those who continually bleat about rights need to look around. Might is right.

Yes a nation where politicians are too cowardly to actually discuss matters of importance.

Which issues are you referring to?
And specifically what issues do you think Trump would be willing to actually discuss (and I don't mean simply enforcing his opinion)?

Abortion. We are not supposed to not have an abortion bill. The Supreme Court said so at the time that it struck down the previous bill. Our politicians are so cowardly that they will not actually discuss difficult and divisive issues. They just sit in the mushy middle.

Sounds like a great bill, but there's no way our legal system will uphold it as constitutional.

Insane. These people are so illogical. They can't even wage a war of abortion rightly. They've just alerted the whole world as to what kind of people they are. First degree murder is usually life without parole. What a terrible idea, and a terrible bunch of screwed up religionists. If they pass this law, think of how far they could go with other things. Ten years sentences for adultery? Five years for fornication? Tongue cuttings for yelling "Jesus Christ!" That would make us similar to ISIS.

I'm pro life and this goes to far. There have to be exceptions, and people who do in vitro shouldn't be punished.

This kind of thing happens because the religious ultra conservatives come out and vote in droves to vote for their candidates, where as the rest of the population is quazi apathetic. At some point, hopefully, the general public will wake up and see their rights are being squashed. This bill is ridiculous on so many levels. If there is any saintly left in the law and politics it will not be passed.

It's just a bill. It's not law. It sounds like it won't be as it's being held up. Did people forget about how a bill becomes a law? Do we need to review Schoolhouse Rock?

I think this is just a revelation of how deeply disturbed fundamentalists really are. Are they really any different from ISIS? Seriously? Life imprisonment without the possibility of parole for a 17 year old scared teenage girl. Corrupt is what I call it. This kind of rhetoric from the right will lead to their demise. They should be mocked and chastised wherever they show their faces. No! They should not be allowed to assimilate into society,
Listen, Christians, we have a great enemy called socialism. This is not the time to divide us further by pulling stupid stunts. We need to stick together through these trying times. We can talk about abortion later, but right now we need to stick together lest we divide the country on 4 or 5 fronts, rather than just two.
