Here's a pretty big battery of tests [http://www.authentichappiness.sas.upenn.edu...] from UPenn that will help to delve a bit deeper than cheaply-made internet quizzes to assess different aspects of your personality. You'll have to quickly register, but that takes all of one minute, after which point it takes you straight to the tests. I recommend the VIA Survey of Character Strengths which, although 240 questions, does a pretty good job of singling out what it aims to single out. Here are some of my sample results:

Time is never wasted. It's just used one way, as opposed to a different way.

Obviously, I was expressing my desire for that period of time to be spent differently (in another way).

Because I'm not a big "thank-you" person, I suppose.

You should consider changing that for your own and consequently other peoples happiness.

It's not a conscious choice, first of all. It's a personality trait. The questions were directed primarily at extroverted displays of gratitude, which I, as an introvert, don't much care for. A quiet thank-you, or a nod of approval, is sufficient.

Secondly, I'm not an altruist, and could care less about other peoples' happiness in its own right.

For the strengths, I'm glad.

For the lack of compassion, I'm unsurprised. Some might call it a "deficiency", but that's an inaccurate word to use, as there isn't a "proper" amount of compassion to have.

For vengeance and avoidance, I'm simply surprised by my high scores. Nothing more, nothing less.

For happiness, I expected pretty low results. I'm not a particularly happy person.
