For me it would be a career in soccer. Ideally playing for a team or a few teams in England as the highlight of my career. Then moving on to some sort of job within the club.

I absolutely love soccer. My favorite time of the week is for sure when I'm on the field playing matches. So I would love to play soccer for a living.

What's you dream job?

Sports commentator.

Alternatively, I could see myself writing some good short stories, but probably not enough to make a living. I have a few good plot ideas.

Perhaps a defense attorney or a philosopher, though both seem unlikely.

didn't you show me some ridiculous video on the stupidity of wanting to be a lawyer? What is this now?

The video was meant to be a video on the stupidity of having grand delusions about the profession.

Lawyer. I'd like to argue in court, not just sit my @ss off, perhaps a civil litigator suing companies for millions, defense attorney defending a defendant on a capital murder case, or a DA prosecuting a high profile case.

The video was meant to be a video on the stupidity of having grand delusions about the profession.

In the context that you showed the video, I had not mentioned any reason why I wanted to be a lawyer. The mere act of me mentioning lawyering must have led you to believe that all or most people who want to be a lawyer fall under the video's description. Hence you posted the video. I find it silly that someone who too wants to be a lawyer, would assume such reasoning from others pursuing the same goal.

I really only said lawyer because it was a field that interested me.

But, regardless, I suppose you are right. It was nonsensical of me to do that, and I apologize.

All I ever wanted to do was to design vehicles, particularly cars.

Unfortunately, due to family pressure, I took the wrong subjects at college and became a lawyer before ending up as a tour operator.

If I ever come into a lot of money, I'm going jack the travel game in and study automotive design technology with a view to becoming a car stylist.

Haha nice. I've thought about it. And I wouldn't mind being a stay-at-home mom if my husband made the "right" kind of money :p

- Renowned Food and/or Movie Critic

Food critic would be so awesome. I would love to be if I weren't such a picky eater.

And since Devinni (sp?) mentioned the FBI, I always thought being a criminal profiler (like Criminal Minds) would be super cool.

Really? I can't imagine you getting on with the other footballers' wags!
- Entrepreneur, Business Owner
Okay, I bet you'll succeed.
- Something where I get to be in tropical locations around lesbians all the time...
I actually can get you that job, if you consider the South of France sufficiently tropical; are prepared to work for relatively low wages and then only from March to October.
- Ghost Writer for Rappers
I know you could do it, I've seen the evidence!
- Renowned Food and/or Movie Critic
Are you sure? People hate them more than they hate investment bankers.
- College Football Coach
Whatever rocks your boat, I suppose.
- Athlete
Fair enough.
- POTUS
It's very a demanding job you know, and you don't get a lot of free time - I mean, if you are detained in a crisis meeting, who would cook your husband's dinner? :)
- Film Director
Okay.
- Professor (who's already won the Lottery and doesn't need the money)
Good job, and the most worthwhile on the list!
