I'm starting college at the end of the summer at the University of Florida.

I was wondering, those DDO members who are in college, do you find ample time for DDO in your schedule or does it fall by the wayside?

Just curious.
The wise have eyes in their heads, while the fool walks in the darkness; but I came to realizethat the same fate overtakes them both.
Then I said to myself,
"The fate of the fool will overtake me also.
What then do I gain by being wise?"
I said to myself, "This too is meaningless."
For the wise, like the fool, will not be long remembered;
the days have already come when both have been forgotten.
Like the fool, the wise too must die!

Imabench does pretty well with it, so does contradiction.

It depends on whether or not you plan on sleeping at night, or how tough your schedule is. I did fantastic because I had easy classes all lumped into a few days and had tons of free time, but if you have hard classes on almost every day MTWTF then DDO will have to wait, it really depends on your major.

So what is your major?

btw, why UF and why does your profil say your in japan?

I know you're asking him, but since I live in Florida I might be able to shed some light. Florida and Miami are generally* considered the all-around highest ranked in the state. Of course I don't know the OP's financial situation, but Miami is private and is quite a bit more expensive than UF, so that's a factor for some students.

*Obviously some departments are higher ranked elsewhere in the state.

Also, OP gets the pleasure of having his school's mascot plastered five different ways on every side-of-the-road food stand in the state of Florida. Yee-haw. ;) I kid.

I took a break from DDO during the semester, but I think it depends on whether or not the classes you are taking are difficult for you, how much work is involved in them, and what else you're trying to do during the day. There are a lot of people here that seem to manage just fine, maybe they'll stop by and explain to me how they can do that. :)
Don't take me too seriously plz, i'm rarely on here sober

When I'm in school and working at the same time I don't have time for DDO. Right now school is over so here I am. I work a part-time job. In June I'll be starting a full-time job and commuting pretty far, so I imagine I'll be spending significantly less time on the site. Plus there are much better things to do than hang around DDO in the summer... well, if you live by a coast that is :)

"Time for DDO" is whatever you make it. Would I ever take a serious debate during finals time? Of course not, but with posts just a few lines like these it takes up maybe 30 seconds of my time. DDO isn't time consuming unless you make it.

I'm currently in my last year of college. I'm taking all my courses online and they've recently condensed the semesters to 8 weeks instead of 13, so I have plenty of free time in between semesters.

I got all As this semester and spent more time then I should have on DDO. However, I took easy classes, and in my hard class (Plant Design) I pretty much free rided on the only person who did work in the group, and then crammed for the exam.
