how do you reach out to someone your care about greatly, and are even interested in romantically but they not sure yet if they are into you, when they are going through the great pain of there close family dieing of an incurable desises?

Depends on their personality. Dealing with a cynical bastard like me is different from dealing with a normally optomistic extrovert.

But seriously. The first and foremost is to do whatever you can to help her through her time of grieving. This may mean being close and comforting for her, or it may mean giving her some space. Whatever she needs, you need to give that to her. You have to think of what she needs, and not what you want. If you focus on your wants, she'll never get close to you.

By doing this for her, it can help create a very close and strong bond that can be a good root for a fairly solid relationship.

thank you.

so giving them there space can be a good thing? I worry it would be like doing nothing and seen that way. Its hard to accapt 'being there' can mean 'giving space' cause they sound kind of opposite in rhetoric

Really, you want to offer to be there for her. Maybe something just as simple and doing something fun together to help her move on. If she says that she needs her space, that is when you give it to her. But by asking, she knows that you are wanting to help, not just ignoring her.
