I have done a lot of thinking lately about the performance enhancing scandals in sports. And I am wondering if PED's are really that bad.

As a 15:20-15:30 5k runner, I am now faced with the dilemma that no matter how hard I train, that at age 32 i will soon start to decline. It was always my goal to break-15 minutes, and on EPO (safe doses), I could feasibly do that. I have seen that with safe amounts of EPO, a 6% performance boost in running can be had in 4 weeks. What are your opinions on this. Would it be cheating, or using science to be the best that I can be?

I want a PED requirement in MLB along with a lifting of the prohibition on aluminum bats and the replacement of all natural grass fields with artificial turf.

With that, that boring-@ss sport might finally be watchable again.
