Not really that interesting. Just that most of my major career advancements involved me immersing myself in a field where I had little to no prior knowledge, educating myself both by the book and by experience; i.e. "doing."

I was able to get those opportunities by establishing prior performance, knowing people, and using existing knowledge to establish value.
