What experience did you have that was a pivotal, defining moment in your life?

Potential experiences might include, but are certainly not limited to:

-Acceptance to a College
-World Travel
-A Significant Relationship
-Tragic Loss
-Heroic Triumph
-Overcoming Obstacles
-Having a Child
-Work Related Occurrences
-An Especially Meaningful Book
-Coming Out
-Charity or Relief Work
-Struggling with an Addiction and/or Overcoming That Addiction
-Major World Events that Impacted You or Your Family

...and the list goes on.

What did that experience mean to you? Why? Help us see it through your eyes.

It's tough. I would say there were several pivotal moments...Dropping out of college when I did, taking my initial EMT class, meeting Mrs. Bladerunner...running for site president kinda feels pivotal, but that might just be 'cause I'm a nerd.
