My son turned 18 (breeding age).
I find myself intrigued by your subvocal oscillations.
A singular development of cat communications
That obviates your basic hedonistic predilection,
For a rhythmic stroking of your fur to demonstrate affection.

Afraid you're going to have grandkids running around before he gets out of college?

His mother is a nervous, materialistic, psychiatrist.

I'm the kind of person who is quietly accepting of others and tries to make other people smile, even crappy people. Then I'll randomly do something wild and against every standard norm.

And then ill go compose a song about it on my piano,

My son idolizes me (lol), even when I kick him away and tell him not to try and for him to be himself. He is still a lot like his mother.

You don't seem so bad, Mr. Parrot. My old man's a self-satisfied cunt who perves on my girlfriends.

My old man's currently trying to justify his religion to me by saying "Jesus Christ" after every cough, with coming in the door tired, after every near-mishap -- it's like, "all right, I get it, you're weak flesh." lol... He's not so bad either.

It's good you can see that. That usually comes with grey hairs.

He also regularly buys beer and just doesn't drink it, knowing I eventually will, as if to justify himself by me, lol....never says anything to me about it. He's funny, you know. Even if our games are wholly insidious.

That's what funny is: obscure, largely-harmless orderings. Primordial, I guess. Whatever, he's funny.

I don't care about whether an ideology is "necessary" or not,
I care about how to solve problems,
which is what everyone else should also care about.

In essence, the world is fucked up and you can either ignore it, become cynical or bitter about it.
Deep down, we're all dumbassses who act like shittheads
