Title explains it all. I was there for 20 minutes en route to Masada. Please do not let this thread become a huge Palestine argument just because I mentioned the west bank.

From what I saw, it seemed like there is a huge amount of poverty there. Themany conflicts between Israel and Palestine clearly show on the land.

There is a huge amount of barbed wire, walls, fences and security guards, so the mood was pretty depressing.

The ground is unhealthy, and broken. Not much vegetation. Then again, I was only there for 20 minutres, so I have no clue how the rest of the country is like.

Cool! What was it like?

From what I saw, it seemed like there is a huge amount of poverty there. Themany conflicts between Israel and Palestine clearly show on the land.

Like how does it show?

The ground is unhealthy, and broken. Not much vegetation. Then again, I was only there for 20 minutres, so I have no clue how the rest of the country is like.

That's really sad.

It is.

Is everything really bombed out?

No. There are buildings. A lot of fences and walls. Some housing, but the further from the border, the less houses.

Hmm. That's interesting. What stuck out to you the most?

The walls. Lots of them, even by the roads.

Interesting. Do they protect property?

I hope so.

Going through the West Bank is the fastest route to Masada, an ancient Jewish fortress on a mountain.
