I value everything equally except for equality. That's at the bottom.

I'm all about this stuff. My thinking for this order is relevance to my own life, such that if I could only have one, I'd have #1. If I could have two, I'd have #1 and #2, and so forth.

1. Happiness
2. Equality
3. Freedom
4. Self-Respect
5. Family Security
6. World at Peace
7. Sense of Accomplishment
8. Mature Love
9. True Friendship
10. Wisdom

Some of those are pretty close (5-8), but the extremes are about right. If I could have any of these, I'd prefer happiness, equality, and personal freedom. With all that, I can't say I'd want or need love, friends, or wisdom.

But the hero... never gets to see that ending. They'll never know if their sacrifice actually made a difference. They'll never know if the day was really saved. Everything else is equally unimportant from an individualistic perspective. Depending on the individual, The 5 I did not include could be important depending on what makes that person happy. You picked weird topics that don't apply well together and aren't easily comparable considering some are connected.

i'd have to disagree that they're wierd because its how important they are TO YOU. I can't order it because they're all important to me connections or not

I think many of these overlap and it's odd that cultural, personal, and political values are mixed together.

1. True friendship
2. Mature love
3. Wisdom
4. Family security
5. World at peace

1, 2 and 3 contribute to freedom, which leads to equality.

1, 2, 3, and 4 contribute to a sense of accomplishment/self-respect.

All of the above contribute to happiness.

Just endanger? Like, if they cut your family off in traffic?

More like (actually happened over the weekend):
A bunch of Rednecks threaten to come back and kill my female friend and the rest of my school's Chorale while they're broken down at a truck stop.
It took almost all my willpower not to drive into Pennsylvania at 1 am and wait with them gun in hand.

That list is too narrow though.

My values are probably as follows.

Most importantly is security, the familiar. I fear the unknown am constantly assessing threats and have an intense fear of rejection or failure. I'm usually promoted rapidly up the ranks at whatever jobs I choose, but I fear failing at higher levels so I quit get fire or just request them allow me to step down. Like I said, I'm extremely fond of security.

I'm also deeply emphathetic, so I care deeply about the feelings of others, as well as their well being. This deep sense of empathy is often what allows me to neglect my deep sense of self preservation. I've put myself in several situations where I've been called a hero, but the truth is I'm not. I don't believe there are truly that many heroes out there. Being a hero, involves doing tough things, but my decisions to do these seemingly heroic things, come so naturally that I'm pretty much doing these things against my own will.

I have a strong sense of honor, which I'm trying to part with. Though I can let insults go. I feel like an ancient Japanese warrior who will go kill himself rather than live with dishonor. I'd also be willing to kill others who would attack my honor.

Beyond these things, my other values pale in comparison

Um....no. Equality in its true form is antithetical to freedom. Freedom may mean all people are afforded equal rights, but equality would extend well beyond that.
