We can't really answer that if you don't give the quantity of questions, difficulty, method employed (multiple choice/long questions), etc.

The test will likely consist of:

70% multiple choice
5% Numeric response
and
35% Long answer. (I'm probably going to fail it anyway but I have to blaze through it for. . . reasons.)

That does not add up to 100%?

Okay, since MCs take up much of your exam, I'll suggest these:
-Fill up all programme slots in your calculator with the most useful programmes. Preferably get two calculators.
-If there's a question with a constant that holds true for ALL real values of the constant, substitute in a random constant. For example, for questions that ask you to simplify a complex trigonometric ratio, just substitute theta = some random angle that isn't 0, 30, 45, 60, 90 or their multiples. If they tell you about a square with sides 6a and 3b, just pretend the sides are 2 and 1 (unless there are actual lengths given in other parts of the question).
-For geometry questions involving circles, use a protractor. Don't ask me why it works.

I dunno.

But here is a math joke:

Why did the chicken cross the Mobius Strip?

To get to the same side.

That doesn't really work unless you walk along the mobius strip. It doesn't make sense if you cross it.

You probably weren't born able to finish math exams quickly, so you're really neglecting disclosing to the OP how you gained this ability, aren't you?

"genius at Maths". I'm not sure what that is supposed to mean.

Either way, wouldn't you say that studying played a fundamental role in your maths skill?

- Mmm, I guess so. I generally concentrate on the course, & I rarely do any extra activities beyond the course.

Fair enough. "Genius" would usually suggest being one of the best in the world, or at least one of the best in the world for one's age group or circumstances.

So I wonder if "concentrate and study" would have been a more helpful answer than "be me". I understand the humour of it, but it did sound like all you were trying to say was that you were an exceptional mathematician.

- I wouldn't go as far as say I am a mathematician. After all, I am still a student. But, I'd say I was exceptional at Maths. I graduated high school n"1 in my city, & graduated college among the top 15 in my country.

I see. You mean you were one of the best math students in your country, not that you were/are one of the best mathematicians.

Can I ask what you're majoring in? Hopefully math or something deeply mathematical =)

- Now I do Fundamental Physics. So, yeah, it's very related to Maths. :)

Trust me, I know a plenty of friends who cannot become good at maths despite extensive efforts... Mathematics prowess and ethnicity don't really correlate.

Sounds fun! I'm guessing you had to take at least one course in probability theory, and possibly one in statistics. Have you done much of pure math in your program? For example, graph theory or differential geometry?

- Of course, most certainly. I didn't do Math in English, but I reckon it's the same. We did a wide range of courses, from arithmetics, groups, measures, functions, set theory, vector spaces, matrix spaces, differential calculus. . . quite the long list.

Yep. I did a degree in mathematical statistics, and I'm doing my phd in mathematical modelling and simulation, mostly applied to neuroscience and genetics. I haven't taken much physics, but I've done all the math courses you've listed :). I found them very stimulating.
