You may ask me whatever you like. I may or may not answer.

Please feel free to ask me things that relate to politics, or something that doesn't necessarily relate to me. I feel like AMA's are really often oriented towards questions about the OP. That's kind of disappointing when the scope of what is permissible is vastly broader.

If I don't know the answer to something, I'll tell you.

Keep in mind that I used to teach at a university.

Do you think the Iraq War was justified? I think we accomplished a lot, and that it wasn't a failure like many people make it out to be.

I think I'd have a hard time coming to a hard and fast answer of what it means to make a war like Iraq justified or unjustified, and I think that what Obama did in Iraq was outrageously bad. Like, I think what we were doing in Iraq was justifiable up until the point that Obama was elected, but I think Obama's election tore apart any progress we made in that region.

However, knowing what I know now, there are a lot of things that should have been done differently in Iraq, and that what happened in Iraq -ultimately, because of Obama's decisions there- have made Iraq to be even worse than Vietnam. It is just terrible what happened there, once Obama pulled out. To think about what ISIS is doing to the people of Iraq really is heartbreaking to me. All of those people, their lives and their families which have been destroyed by ISIS, and who continue to suffer as they do.... it really hurts me to think about.

If I knew before we went in that Obama would do what he was going to do, I would have opposed the war. But, if Hillary had been elected instead of Obama, then I would have still supported it because she would not have -I think- made the same mistakes that he did.

Iraq is really complicated, though. It's not as easy as saying "was it justified or not."

I tend to agree. I think rewording it something like "the US intervention in Iraq from 2003-2009 was justified" or maybe just "the initial US invasion of Iraq was justified". I like to think that it would have been better had we stayed, as well as with Vietnam, but elections happen and new people are appointed with different objectives.

I love leading the classroom, and specifically I loved working with college freshmen and sophomores. They're all very impressionable, but they're trying to figure out who they are and what they want to be. It's really neat to see them wrestle with things, as they start to learn to ask bigger questions than they ever had before, even if they weren't sure how to give answers to them. 100 and 200 level political science courses.

Cool :) I feel kinda like that when I work with little kids...It's not so much that they're asking bigger questions, but it's as if the world if unfurling in front of them and they are just beginning to explore it. It's fun to watch that happen.

I taught basically everything. I was technically "assisting" but the professor I was working with was working on publishing, so I assumed primary teaching responsibilities.

Gray, Winter, Cheesecake and tight fitting dark jeans probably with a black fleece quarter-zip or something. I wear a lot of black.

Invest almost all of it, but I'd buy a rolex and a few nice suits. Not much else would change, though.

Clinton. She's my gal.

I don't think there has been any one book, film and/or music.... but I really liked Harry Potter... everything.

I also listened to a lot of rap when I was little (like, even at age 11, I was listening to Eminem), and I'm sure that had some impact on my overall attitude (problems with authority, intense rebellious streak, sometimes aggressive, vengeful, etc.).

You have a gun in your hand, and a time machine. If the bullet does not kill a US president at their inaugural speech within a day, everyone in the world will die. Feasibility isn't an issue, you open a window to the past and shoot. Which president dies?

This isn't really me who's supposed to answer, but the most logical answer would be William Harrison -- that way, you would affect the flow of time least, so there wouldn't be as drastic an impact to the present via the butterfly effect.

What if you want to affect the present though?

Whats your name mean?

Yeah, you're welcome.

Are you aware this is the third unique answer I've seen you give to this question?

The first time you said "yeah, you would"
More recently you've said it's "yeah, yeah, whatever"
