Out of the three high-profile debates you're currently in (with thett3, bsh1, donald.keller), which one do you think you have the highest probability of losing?

Who would you rather debate -- Zaradi or ShabShoral?

What are you studying in school?

In undergrad, I studied music performance. Then I decided to become a psychiatrist, so I took some pre-med classes, took the MCAT, and went to medical school. Dropped out after the first year. It wasn't what I expected, so I took the LSAT on a whim, and now I'm in law school. I don't intend to practice law but I've enjoyed the classes thus far.

Do you have any academic debate experience?

No. Didn't even know competitive debate was a real thing until I found this website.

Who are your favorite users on the site?

Yraelz and F-16.

I also used to play lots of League of Legends with Lucky/Mestari. We used to 1v1 all the time, which was tons of fun. In the hangouts, I've really liked talking with Mikal, YYW, airmax, Skep, and some others. Raisor is cool as fvck too. Oh, and Hatstand. I think one of the most fun experiences I've had on this site was playing Code Geass mafia with Hatstand. It's unfortunate she left.

What are the three best debates you've done, in your opinion?

I have no idea.

Were you ever a theist? If so, what caused you to change your belief?

Fvck no

Do you believe that theism is an intellectually respectable position?

Fvck yes

Preferred ontology of mind?

I have no idea what "ontology of mind" means, so you'll have to expand.

Yes. I'm open to dating anyone I like. And I don't limit myself on the basis of gender. I'm especially open to transgender folks, as I'm especially empathetic with folks who struggle in some way against societal oppression. Though I'll admit I have a physical preference for a women's skin, curves, and smell, but ultimately what attracts me is beyond anything physical.

I feel oppressed by gender stereotypes, so I relate to anyone who experiences something similar. I've never been with a trans guy, though I've been with a trans woman.

lol I forgot...

To say a bit more, I feel oppressed in the same way women feel oppressed by gender roles. There's social pressures to behave a certain way, to look a certain way, and so on.

It's also oppressive because it's isolating. 99% of the people I know, including many self-proclaimed feminists, cannot comprehend the notion that patriarchal gender roles works in both directions. So it's very difficult to explain to others why men, including the prototypical masculine white male, may feel internally oppressed because he's conforming his behavior to a role that he doesn't actually feel comfortable in. It's also why mainstream feminism is so fvcking dangerous, because it's responsible for the competing men's rights movement. There's a bunch of folks who feel alienated, because they feel like their oppression isn't being recognized, and it just leads to this totally unproductive, even dangerous, comparison of victimhood -- who is "actually" oppressed? -- when the reality is that oppression is a subjective experience that's based on your inability -- whether physically or mentally-- to conform with certain "ideals."

Sorry for the rant lol.

I don't know you personally, so I don't really have an opinion about anything that actually matters.

If you're asking about debating skill, you mostly stay in your comfort zone, debate topics in which you know the arguments for both sides, so the affair feels very rehearsed, almost mechanical-like. It's not a style I like, but it's effective at getting you wins.

The votes I've read from you aren't great.

In mafia, you were inactive, and you played during the dark ages, surrounded by terrible players, or inactive players, so there's not much else to say about that.

I like the fact that you're trying to improve. And I recognize that you're young, so I think you've got lots of potential to learn sh!t, which is cool.

In terms of debating, I don't want to debate you unless I have assurances that you won't forfeit.

In terms of reading, these topics look interesting:

Democratization of third-world countries is beneficial - (Con)

All countries should adopt a foreign policy of Isolationism - (Pro)

The USFG should make Public College Education free - (Con)

Faith is a reasonable answer to the limits of human rationality - (Pro)

In college admissions, standardized test scores should be weighed more heavily than GPAs - (Pro)
