Yeah, it might be depressing. It might also be uplifting, seeing the time where people stuck up for you. This also reveals how you think about yourself, if you think that everyone hates you, then you would think it would be bad stuff. If you think you are awesome, you would think it would all be nice stuff. Its an interesting question.

I would take the opportunity. I probably wouldn't like the results.

Yeah, but I'd keep it to myself until the perfect time to bring it up and absolutely destroy them.

I think it would destroy friendships unnecessarily... sometimes, when other people aren't around, people can be careless and say things they really don't mean. Besides, I wouldn't want to know what everyone thought of me... I'd rather figure it out myself.

That's interesting, but what if you knew the sincerity and meaning in which they said it?

Well, perhaps. But still, I can say something and mean it momentarily, but that doesn't mean I truly believe it. I guess it depends on how extensive we would be able to know. Still, I think I'd rather just live my life as it is... Too much knowledge could be painful. :P

Yeah. As rule, I know people (and plenty of people on DDO) talk about me often... and while I care what my friends think of me (and many people on DDO are my friends), I think that I'd be more interested in seeing what people I don't like say about me, and I think I'd drive myself crazy.

Hell no. It's not meant for my ears, and not only that, I don't know their intent in what they say.

I ought to say no, but if I actually had a chance of getting the power, temptation would lead me to say yes, and it would drive me crazy in very short order.

I think i'd like to know
Epsilon: There are so many stories where some brave hero decides to give their life to save the day, and because of their sacrifice, the good guys win, the survivors all cheer, and everybody lives happily ever after. But the hero... never gets to see that ending. They'll never know if their sacrifice actually made a difference. They'll never know if the day was really saved. In the end, they just have to have faith.

Interesting, by human nature, most ppl probably would not be able to resist. The real paradox would be, how would you keep it from changing you. Could or would you be the same person after gleaning said knowledge? It is kind of like trying to un-know something you regret knowing. Plus no one ever thinks about you as much as you think about yourself, lol. So I would have to say "no".
