If you could travel back in time, where would you go?

If you could know one thing about your future, what would it be?

If you hadn't discovered DDO, what would you have most likely done with the free time?

If a zombie apocalypse were to erupt tomorrow, what would be your primary strategies toward survival? What do you put as your odds of survival?

What is something that you consider yourself the best at, at least in comparison to the people you know?

I'd go to the first century, Judea, and find out what's what.

If you could know one thing about your future, what would it be?

I'd like to know which numbers I will wish I had chosen the next time the PowerBall lottery reaches $200 million and there's a drawing.

If you hadn't discovered DDO, what would you have most likely done with the free time?

I would've made more knives and/or spent more time on facebook and/or blogged more and/or read more books.

If a zombie apocalypse were to erupt tomorrow, what would be your primary strategies toward survival? What do you put as your odds of survival?

I would head for unpopulated areas and attempt to live by my wits, hunting, trapping, scavenging, etc. I'd avoid populated areas like the. . .well, I was about to say, "like the plague," but I think the zombie apocalypse would be worse. I think I might survive a few months, but eventually, I'd die one way or another.

What is something that you consider yourself the best at, at least in comparison to the people you know?

That's a good question. As far as people I know in person, I think I'm probably the best at debating. My older brother might be better, though. I think I'm probably one of the best if not THE best at making macaroni and cheese.

Thank you for your participation.

I quit because it because a chore to arrange times with people. Now, since I'm not very active, and there's been quite the turnover, and the site just isn't as much fun anymore, I lack the enthusiasm that I once had.

I haven't made any bows in about a year, but I've been making lots of knives lately.

Whatcha been doing now that you're not really on DDO anymore?

Making knives.

How's life?

A little scary.

What are your thoughts on the Presidential race so far?

This is the most depressing Presidential race I can ever remember living through. It's crazy, really, that we have 300 million people in this country, and we can't come up with better candidates.

How's the weather?

Beautiful.

What is the most uncommon food you've ever eaten?

I'm not sure if I've ever eaten anything uncommon. Twenty years ago, I would've said, "Sushi," but now everybody eats sushi.

What's the greatest life lesson you've learned in the last year?

Don't send a knife before they have paid.

I'm sorry. After reading some of the other AMA threads, it occurred to me that I misunderstood what "honest opinion" was meant to ask. I thought it was a request for a random honest opinion about anything, but it looks like folks are asking for honest opinions about themselves. I'm afraid I don't know you well enough to have any opinion about you at all. I don't know a thing about you.

A little disappointing, but I still enjoyed them.

That's fair. I only watched the first one and decided not to watch the others. I just didn't want to go down that road.

Best trilogy: Lord of the Rings or Star Wars 4-6?

1. Ever been injured when making a knife?

In the beginning, I got cut by just about every knife I made. The injuries have become fewer and farther between since then.

2. Ever threaten somebody with a knife?

Only in jest.

3. Is your social anxiety any better?

Not really. I have a girlfriend now who has it worse than me, though. I hoped it might help us both, but it really hasn't.

4. If you can only bring 5 books with you to a 5 year long space voyage, what would they be?

1. The Freedom of the Will by Jonathan Edwards
2. The Road to Reality by Roger Penrose
3. N.T. Wright's two volume book on Paul (counting that as one book).
4. John P. Meier's "Marginal Jew" series (counting them as one book).
5. Empire of the Summer Moon by S.C. Gwynne

5. Do you ever eat cereal in the middle of the day as a snack?

I eat cereal during all parts of the day and night. I had some Crispix around 4 am today.

6. Is it weird if you eat cereal in the middle of the day as a snack?

Cereal is an all purpose food for humans. You can eat it any time of the day or night without any breech of etiquette, decorum, law, morality, or standard of normalcy.

7. Should I have a chocolate bar or some vanilla cookies for dessert today?

A chocolate bar. You can get more sugar in your system with fewer bites.

8. Where did you get your hat?

It's been so long, I can't remember. I got it way back in the mid 90's. It was inspired by the Motley Fool Investment Guide.
