The Lion King is Disney at its best.

Agree to disagree. I've watched Toy Story 2 and Alice in Wonderland - didn't like either.

Nevermind I forgot Toy Story was Pixar. Replace it with The Fox and the Hound.

I may or may not be a little biased towards the older movies. As you may notice.

Amazingly, you seem to have forgotten Beauty and the Beast, Hunchback, and Frozen, all of which blow Hercules and Pochahontas out of the water.

Didn't like Beauty and the Beast even as a kid. Although, Gaston was one of the things I did like about it -- probably his chauvinistic humor.

Frozen was good but I don't think it belongs up there with the greatest. I liked how it made fun of how the other princesses would fall in love and marry a man within a few days timespan. That was golden to finally point out that irony.

Hunchback was a great catch on your part. I'm asking myself how I missed that.

Heresy. That's one of the greatest Disney movies of all time. An actually intelligent, pro-active Princess, who actually takes time to fall in love rather than meet and have it happen instantly.

Frozen parallels the Lion King hard.

Yeah, you're pointing it was definitely made me remember it was different than the rest. Especially for its time. But I'm not looking back on it and getting the feeling of, "D@mn, this was just amazing to me." Hence why I left it out of the list and still would.

Parallels it hard story-wise, or its impact on the entertainment industry?

I have a bias for the older movies. The best part of Up was the beginning the rest was okay. I haven't seen Princess and the Frog. Something I should look into?

The whole movie is great.

Yes.
