Mexican Casserole

Stir Fry until beef is cooked
1lb ground beef
1 cup chopped onions
1/2 cup green peppers
1/2 cup red peppers
1 tbsp canola oil

Drain and Combine in casserole dish
1 can of corn (with liquid)
1 can of Aylmer's Accents Chili tomatoes (with juice)
1.25 cups of water
1 package of powdered taco mix
2 cups of medium egg noodles
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper

Cook at 350 covered for 55 min. stir once at 30 min.

Uncover, sprinkle with 1 cup of grated Monterey Jack Cheese (or marble cheddar if that is what you've got) and cook 5 min uncovered.

Garnish with black olives.

Really tasty! I'm going by memory, but I don't think I missed any ingredients.

That actually beats what I was thinking of suggesting, a simple Shepard's pie. Sounds good.

Try this out, since you probably have never tasted it. It's traditional in my country:

Baked Pasta (Imqarrun il-forn)

INGREDIENTS
500 grams mince
500 grams penne or rigatoni pasta
2 onions diced finely
3 cloves garlic finely sliced
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 courgette diced
1 red, green or yellow pepper diced
100 ml beef stock
6 chopped tomatoes
4 lightly beaten eggs
4 tablespoons grated cheese plus another two tablespoons for the top
Small bunch of oregano chopped
Handful of frozen peas (optional)
2 hard boiled eggs chopped (optional)
Salt and pepper
Olive oil for frying

Or perhaps, to give it a more Americanized twist to it, you can try this: http://www.food.com...
"It's interesting to observe that almost all truly worthy men have simple manners, and that simple manners are almost always taken as a sign of little worth" - Giacomo Leopardi

"It is more honorable to be raised to a throne than to be born to one. Fortune bestows the one, merit obtains the other." - Francesco Petrarca

"You too must not count too much on your reality as you feel it today, since like yesterday, it may prove an illusion for you tomorrow." - Luigi Pirandello
