Proving consciousness comes from your mind categorizing familiar objects and labeling them. AKA Perception and Recognition.

First we must recognize (postulating that the things we percieve exist) the perception process.
The perception process is as follows: Light reflects off various objects and into the eyes (or sound goes into the ears etc etc). From there the light is recognized by light reactive cells called cones and rods. The different combinations of cones and rods firing off is what creates an image in the brain.

So now what? We've got a lot of color and lines. So what does it mean? That's where recognition comes in. The brain categorizes similar objects, lables objects, and relates new objects. No longer do we have random colors and lines, but we have some chairs, a desk, and some kind of computer.

So how does reality manifest itself? Recognition. Without recognition our world would be a din of colors and sounds without meaning. Reality is constructed out of labels and categories. What if that chair wasnt a chair but was just a splat of color? Reality wouldnt exist. And this is true with all senses. What if you could hear but couldnt understand what you were hearing? Tasting but didnt understand the taste? Feeling but not identifying texture?

I understand that a chair isn't a chair, and I still experience reality.

Well, it all comes down to vibration really. Everything is varying degrees of vibration and that's what we experience as conscious spirits. You see, energy can clone or imprint itself quite easily and that's how we retain things as "memories" in our brains. Our brains can connect our energy consciousness (spirit/soul) to this energy network like an energy transmitter/receiver. Once this transmitter/receiver can no longer connect to the life force in this energy network, the "physical" body loses it's energy or "life force". Conscious reality is actually just an ability to store energy in all its seemingly endless degrees of vibration. Without "energy memory" consciousness would cease to exist, because we wouldn't remember anything. The exciting thing is that actuality is an eternal network of energy. This network has the ability to store all the "energy memories" that anyone could ever hope to perceive. This network has been given many names in ages past.

Most common is the word "God".

That makes no sense.

So if everyone died tomorrow and there was no consciousness then gravity would not exist?
