Is it just my imagination or are there more users lately spouting semi-poetic crap that they're trying to pass off as revolutionary or "deep" philisophical ideas? It might just be me but I don't remember it happening as often in the past.

You got a problem with my meta-normative reductionism?

Would you like to debate philosophy with me?

Anything in particular?

It's a well known fact that every field has their own terminology. When I write I make a specific effort to be clear and always choose clarity over fancy words. This was one of Orwell's rules to writing, I believe, and I agree with it completely.

I thought I was being pretty clear. If you disagreed, you should have said something in the thread, rather than giving the wrong impression that everything was going fine.

Also, I never used "meta-normative reductionism" as a whole phrase. I used each piece in its proper context. :P

Cody, I'm not accusing you of anything. You keep thinking I'm out to get you, but I'm just making general comments. :)

Why do you have a problem with Transmetaphysical Dialectic Monistic Holon Panpsychiatric Occult Holographic Holism?

Sorry 'bout the late post. I don't really know what I'd want to debate. I haven't really studied any philosophers terribly in-depth, and by that I mean I've read Wikipedia pages, the first two chapters or so of Thus Spoke Zarathustra, and lots of posts on here.

I don't think you can justify that. Want to debate it?

Sounds like a wise man. Who is Orwell?

Btw, I didn't make that up. I actually believe in all those philosophies.
