Behold now behemoth, he eateth grass as an ox.
Lo now, his strength is in his loins, and his force is in the navel of his belly.
He moveth his tail like a cedar: the sinews of his stones are wrapped together.
His bones are asstrong pieces of brass; his bones are like bars of iron.
Surely the mountains bring him forth food, where all the beasts of the field play.
He lieth under the shady trees, in the covert of the reed, and fens.
The shady trees cover him withtheir shadow; the willows of the brook compass him about.
Behold, he drinketh up a river, and hasteth not: he trusteth that he can draw up Jordan into his mouth.
He taketh it with his eyes: his nose pierceth through snares.

Why is this in the Philosophy section?

Ever seen a elephant/hippo/water buffalo with a tail like a cedar tree?

An elephant or a hippo. It does not say it is as tall as a cedar. It moves it's tail like a cedar.
It's an apt description.

I do not see how it is pathetic by any means. Is thier a animal on earth today that describes this? *Remember tail like a cedar.

In fact, the Hebrew word for tail actually refers to any appendage on the animal. It could also refer to a trunk.

Also is that does not mean it does not refer to the tail. Actually you no reason to think it does not mean tail.

The branches of the ceder tree look like the tails of the Elephant/Hippopotamus.

The verse doesn't say it's the size of a cedar tree, just that it moves like one. In the end, we're still talking about a simile translated from an ancient language, so who knows what the original meaning was.

Is this from the Bible? Sounds familiar.

Leviathan possibily.

Also, any large sauropod dinosaur is ruled out given the "lieth" under trees and be shaded by them.

Not under trees, nor be shaded by them, nor be encompassed by willows.

There is no variety of animal that can survive in that variety of environments at that size. Big animals tend to be specialized.
It came to be at its height. It was commanded to command. It was a capital before its first stone was laid. It was a monument to the spirit of man.
