"Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong."

Why does this always seem to be the case?

You forget your umbrella - random rainstorm
You're late - car won't start
Favorite show on - cable won't work

We've all had moments like this before. Does the universe have a sense of humor?
The wise have eyes in their heads, while the fool walks in the darkness; but I came to realizethat the same fate overtakes them both.
Then I said to myself,
"The fate of the fool will overtake me also.
What then do I gain by being wise?"
I said to myself, "This too is meaningless."
For the wise, like the fool, will not be long remembered;
the days have already come when both have been forgotten.
Like the fool, the wise too must die!

The Fool: We tend to recognize more things going wrong because we are in a bad mood from the first incident,. I used to think it meaned hat things happens in three.
"The bud disappears when the blossom breaks through, and we might say that the former is refuted by the latter; in the same way when the fruit comes, the blossom may be explained to be a false form of the plant's existence, for the fruit appears as its true nature in place of the blossom. These stages are not merely differentiated; they supplant one another as being incompatible with one another." G. W. F. HEGEL

I bring it up because I got an e-mail from Juggle today about an opportunity and then Yahoo decides to crash so I can't read it...

Negativity bias combined with confirmation bias? Maybe if we were biased towards positive things we would find the same. Dno, that's my 2 cents.
Things that make me happy!
