An abstract entity is something that doesn't have physical form, and usually exists as a concept or idea. For example, numbers and the laws of logic are abstract entities. They don't exist in reality, but they have effects that can be felt in the real world.

They are ideational or conceptual objects that do not have a causal effect on physical entities, their effect is on thoughts.

do they exist

Yes, they have epistemic existence as contents of consciousness.

why they are not effected by space and time

Because they aren"t physical entities, they exist in a different realm that is independent of spatial and temporal coordinates.
