You will not feel a certain way forever, forever is over because eternity exists. Frustration or sadness should never be an option because patience is the virtue even in fear.

Just a random thought.

You cannot understand something without first hearing, tasting, seeing, smelling, and feeling - each of which is based on the same kind of experience: picking up vibrations. So, in this way, feeling is greater than understanding.

But if you're just talking about feeling in terms of emotions, neither emotions nor knowledge and understanding are greater. They are each important for different reasons. In a way, they balance each other out.
I'll be the one to protect you from
Your enemies and all your demons.
I'll be the one to protect you from
A will to survive and a voice of reason.
I'll be the one to protect you from
Your enemies and your choices, son.

Yep, it's a false dichotomy to put up Reason as existing in opposition to Feeling.

This is often done because we realize that Reason often regulates our immediate emotions..

But Reason doesn't have any method of regulating such feelings but with other feelings.

You understand that the nature of reality is such that Other things you care about, other things you feel for, may exist in a manner that pursuing one care compromises another.

You consider the one care in the context of reality, in the context of the matrix in which All your cares exist, and pursue what you most care for given the whole situation.

That is Reason regulates your emotions through putting them all up Together in the world as you have it figured out...
It doesn't simply Knock one, or Restrain it.. Of itself.

It places your emotions on the scales of reality and observes how they weigh out when they oppose one another.
"He who does not know how to put his will into things at least puts a meaning into them: that is, he believes there is a will in them already."

Metaphysics:
"The science.. which deals with the fundamental errors of mankind - but as if they were the fundamental truths."
