CNN has posted some stunning photos of Dubai's skyline.

All of the photos have one thing in common - clouds/mist that obscures anything BUT the skyscrapers that Dubai is known for.

This has the potential of becoming a moral statement, as what makes Dubai "important" or "interesting" is its skyline, and nothing else (say, those living in the city proper).

To keep the discussion as broad as possible, I will limit my own commentary in the OP.

Your thoughts about these pictures being a moral statement?
