If there were a pill that could feed a person for a month that costs less than $150, would you take it?

This pill would adapt to your body, and release what your body tells the pill it needs. This pill would be 100% safe with no ill side effects. You would never feel hungry nor would you ever become malnourished.

I'm just curious if anyone besides me would be curious enough to try something like this if it were created. I'd also like to know why you would not take a pill like this if it were invented.

I think it would be compelling to take it just out of convenience. Out of preference? Not so much. I think it would depress me.

Depends. Can I still enjoy the deliciousness of pizza without getting fat?

Sure, the pill can either adapt to food or we could find an alternative to stimulate our tasting senses.

Why would it depress you?

Why would it depress you?

It would make me feel more like a robot.

Question: what if you didn't have to do anything that indicated that you are a living creature? Would that have adverse psychological consequences? Look at the atheist, materialist, nihilist model of personal philosophy. They've reasoned their way out of being alive and as a consequence tend to be very depressed.

Yes. I goddamn hate eating. It takes too much time.

Are you serious? I hope so because I hate eating, too. If I could get all my nutrients from a pill or drink, I would do so with zero hesitation.
