Do you have inner peace? Answer these questions nine.

1) If you can start the day without caffeine> No

2) If you can always be cheerful, ignoring aches and pains> Most of the time

3) If you can resist complaining and boring people with your troubles > Most of the time

4) If you can eat the same food every day and be grateful for it > Absolutely

5) If you can understand when your loved ones are too busy to give you any time > Absolutely understand

6) If you can take criticism and blame without resentment > Only if your solution is better

7) If you can conquer tension without medical help > Don't do pills

8) If you can relax without alcohol > Don't drink

9) If you can sleep without the aid of drugs > sleep, what is sleep, I just pass out because I can't stay up any longer.

#1 Defiantly can't go without my 44oz mountain Dew

#6 Depends on the reasonableness of who I am dealing with.
It's not your views that divide us, it's what you think my views should be that divides us.

If you think I will give up my rights and forsake social etiquette to make you "FEEL" better you are sadly mistaken

If liberal democrats would just stop shooting people gun violence would drop by 90%

I need coffee in the morning and I swallow pain killers like they were skittles but otherwise I'm good. Especially on the food one.

I can, but I'm not a very pleasant person if I do.

2) If you can always be cheerful, ignoring aches and pains>

I can, but it would require a lot of effort.

3) If you can resist complaining and boring people with your troubles >

Yes. I really don't like talking about myself. I'd much rather listen to other people talk about themselves, their lives, troubles, etc.

4) If you can eat the same food every day and be grateful for it

As opposed to nothing? Sure. I do have a pretty regular diet though... for breakfast and lunch though. Dinner, not so much.

5) If you can understand when your loved ones are too busy to give you any time >

I just assume that they are, because they always have been... and I prefer it that way.

6) If you can take criticism and blame without resentment >

Depends on the context of the criticism in question, and the criticizer. As a rule though, yes.

7) If you can conquer tension without medical help >

If I'm under stress I usually walk it off (as in I go for an hour long walk or so). If that doesn't work, there are other means. I don't self medicate though, as a rule.

8) If you can relax without alcohol

I can, but would rather relax with alcohol -though I can't do that like I used to be able to.

9) If you can sleep without the aid of drugs

Nope.

No inner peace here, just resistance to resist. Rather than just play along.

Condescending diagnosis aside, my question remains.
