I don't want to watch a 1 hour video so...........what's the gist of the argument ?

Is this the argument that two different "stuffs" can't interact with one another, and physical and mental stuff are different stuffs thus they can't interact with another thus it's all mental ?

He mentions that argument in the beginning, but he mostly focuses on his Digital Physical argument.

Well you know I don't buy into the different stuff argument.

What is the digital physics argument ?

I know you don't, but it only makes sense. He explains it better than I do in the video.

What is the digital physics argument ?

According to Integrated Information Theory, consciousness is identical to integrated information. He then argues that the universe fundamentally is information, and it is integrated (Digital Physics). Therefore, the universe is an integrated informational complex, and is therefore, a conscious state.

So the universe taken as a whole is a conscious state ? what about in part ? what about the sun ? is that conscious ?

The sun is an aspect of a conscious state, but not a conscious state. For example, a thought is an aspect of a mind, but isn't a mind itself. Our minds would be sub-conscious states within this complex.
