Well, I just finished reading this for my literature course, and it was really enjoyable. Probably one of the best, if not the best, book that I've ever read. I had to write a 6 paged essay on it, which kind of sucked, but even that was enjoyable to a degree, because I got to see just how deep Dostoevsky went with his literature.

One of my favorite scenes was when Raskolnikov and Porfiry met for the first time. From the very beginning it was a game of cat and mouse, and it was really interesting to see what kind of thoughts Raskolnikov had about crime from the article he wrote.

Anyone else read this book or have any other thoughts about it? Favorite scenes? Things you didn't like?

Also, if there are any other good works out there like this one, then I'd love to hear about those, too.
