What do you think about it? Have you ever been effected by it? Do you think it happens? http://www.google.com...

I think its very creepy for some reason. I heard about while I heard about the family of bears TV show being pronounced wrong.

I doubt if anyone with a close association with Nelson Mandela has a faulty memory of his death. Faulty memories probably arise because those memories one has little or no reason to dredge up and 'refresh' regularly become corrupted over time, the details getting lost or mixed up with other half-remembered things.

There are enough people in the world that it shouldn't surprise anyone that there is somebody else who shares the same erroneous memory as you do, particularly as the criterion for 'same' is pretty fuzzy here.

The idea that such memories somehow tap into alterntive realities is 'sexier' than the idea that we our memories something get a bit mixed up, but I don't give it any credence and won't be buying the book!
