Can someone explain to me what our choices depend on in libertarian free will? It seems to me that LFW implies "random" choices, which would be utterly chaotic.

I haven't really studied the matter though, so I could have. Straw man perception of what LFW is.

Free will doesn't exist. Free will, Chaos, order... these are all illusion created by an inability to account for all variables. Our inability to realize that we are just complex walking reactions floating in a big pool of reactions that also happens to effect us.

I know these things, because I am the unaccounted for variable and master of liver frosting.

In case you were wondering, yes, it is quite b!tchin. You wish you had twankie deuces as shiny and sexy as mine.

Thanks, but I'm looking for more of a definition. I'd like to be able to noodle through what I think about it and in order to do so I want the best, strongest presentation.

There's a lot of different "models" for how LFW works. The two most prominent ones I can think of are agent causation and are choices being in a sense uncaused but them happening due to our reasons.
