I have been watching Fox news and the developing situation in Libia. There are currently 20 French planes in the air that have already engaged PRO Qaddafi forces on the ground. There are also American ships on the coast of Libia planning a missile attack as well. There are other countries planning to send planes to enforce the no fly zone. I will add updates to this thread as things occur. If you have any updates I hope you will post them here.

I heart your spelling. In fact, I'm tempted to **** it.
It came to be at its height. It was commanded to command. It was a capital before its first stone was laid. It was a monument to the spirit of man.

I was going to get my news from google, but why even bother when I have an illiterate right wing teenager to report on it for me!

So how's it going? Did freedom win?

I am more concerned about the situation in Labia personally.
I am voting for Innomen because of his intelligence, common sense, humility and the fact that Juggle appears to listen to him. Any other Presidential style would have a large sub-section of the site up in arms. If I was President I would destroy the site though elitism, others would let it run riot. Innomen represents a middle way that works, neither draconian nor anarchic and that is the only way things can work. Plus he does it all without ego trips.

I don't get it.

What's the incentive? The anti Gadaffi forces hate the west more than the Gadaffi. USA get the same amount of oil either way.

inb4 someone says liberty and democracy.

Ha Ha Ha, as if that's an option. They can say for humanitarian reasons, but i am guessing it's a crap shoot how many will be killed no matter which side wins.

A dictator who is bombing his own urban centres is not a good business partner. If he was in the heart of africa without petroleum then we would not care. But he is too close, too useful, too unstable.

First of all I am not illiterate, and second I don't judge you on what you believe so I would appreciate that you show me the same respect. Why don't you go and engineer some petroleum or something and let me know when your ready to act your age. Oh and before I forget you forgot to capitalize Google.

Libya exports most of their oil to Italy, while very little makes its way to the US or France, whom is leading the charge to take down Quadaffi. Plus, an even worse business partner than a dictator is a nation that can't trade due to sanctions, which would very likely be implemented if Quadaffi were to retake Libya.

So, I'm thinking that the foreign involvement in this case is mostly being done for humanitarian reasons.

Hur hur I'm 14 and I support the republican party hur hur.

Yeah don't call me out on trolling.

You add nothing to the thread.

I show the OP that the thread is pointless. That is a service in itself.

The word "Libya" was misspelled in the thread title and the OP was just giving a badly written report about what he saw on Fox News.
