What country do you suppose has the most freedom?

This little mechanism is interesting but I have no idea what information they are using to figure it out:
http://www.freeexistence.org...

If you set all the factors to "crucial" it has Switzerland as #1.

Hmm, yes, me neither. I certainly doubt that they're utilizing the "Hedge Fund" Index, so one must first discover what Index they're obtaining information from.

I suppose that it also depends on what aspects a person would view "most Freedom." Switzerland is governed by a direct Democracy in which the people can have direct influence on the passage of laws. Much of society is less regulated than that of the United States, it has no official "State" religion, it features multicultural activities etc. However, Switzerland conscripts all eligible (healthy, and between the ages of nineteen and sixty) males into its army. Every individual must undergo training for a period of eighteen to twenty-one weeks. Consciption certainly is not a freedom. Also, the Swiss forbid their people from joining other nations' militaries. Are they then more free than New Zealand or the Netherlands?

It claims that the UK has the maximum possible freedom of speech, this is not the case.
I am voting for Innomen because of his intelligence, common sense, humility and the fact that Juggle appears to listen to him. Any other Presidential style would have a large sub-section of the site up in arms. If I was President I would destroy the site though elitism, others would let it run riot. Innomen represents a middle way that works, neither draconian nor anarchic and that is the only way things can work. Plus he does it all without ego trips.

I would disagree with us having the most, but really only things we aren't allowed to do is incite religious or racial hatred. And when people do they are rarely prosecuted.

I get New Zealand (92), Sweden (91), and Denmark (90). The only thing that I put as crucial was freedom from corruption.

Australia has pretty free speech. I know American and UK artists that get on Triple J are always amazed at how much they're actually allowed to say (they don't censor anything, but I believe they discourage the use of the word cvnt).

However, we have a lot of wanker apologetics messing things up too.
