Hannity had an interview with Newt Gingrich. It was during this interview after a somewhat ironic discussion about the "elite media" Newt went on about how he's pushing for a "grassroots rebellion" against the (and im not pulling this number outta my a** I heard this sh*t..) 80 year control of the U.S. from the established left..?

Now I am just very very confused by this statement. Can someone clue me in as to what exactly Newt was referring too?

FDR was elected 78 years ago. The established left is the Keynesian one-- the New Dealers.
It came to be at its height. It was commanded to command. It was a capital before its first stone was laid. It was a monument to the spirit of man.
