Is four years too little for a President to really make an effective impression on the country, or would it better to increase the time span? Just something I was wondering when reading about term limits and whether or not there should be any.

I've heard that some people want the president to have a 6 year term, but you could only serve on term. I like our current 4 years with reelection better.

Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened." Jesus in Luke 11:9-10

Gee, ya think maybe officials would take things more seriously if they weren't playing musical chairs with the office?

The incentive is to maximize the amount you can steal for 4-8 years. After that? Who cares.

I think that four years with re-election is good enough, if the American people re-elect someone it shows that he/she at least left a good impression for the most part.

Four years is plenty. If you can't get it together in 4 years, you don't belong there.
