This page is for posting your Political Compass.

Here is mine:http://www.politicalcompass.org...

Not saying you have to, but I though I'd make a page for it.

Perhaps you should see the different stances of the issues a little more before deciding what you are. Your ideology should not waver this much within the span of an hour.

Also, don't let them tell you you're conservative

But they did ask questions about whether the State should interfere and whatever. Lots of the anarchists on this site got heavy libertarianism.

Most anarchists on this site who have taken the quiz are way lower than you on the authoritarian/libertarian axis. Even minarchists or mainstream libertarians scored lower than you.

I hate the political compass. Not only does it go against the definitions of left and right, but it also words, and chooses the questions as to promote bias.

Understood. I am not at all a traditional anarchist/libertarian.

Assuming the state, I take most of the traditional libertarian positions. I am for a total free market, free trade, deregulation, legalization of drugs, against wars and all that stuff. However, assuming the state, I am also for major border control and not a big fan of gay rights. I am surprised I was more authoritarian than socially liberal, but not that surprised.

I am still an anarchist in that I think the state should be abolished. I can be for cultural preservation and statelessness at the same time. In fact, I think that statelessness is the best, and possibly only, way to preserve culture.

But, the real issue here is with the political compass. I view unlimited immigration as a statist, socialist position. I view gay rights and some other cultural issues as neither statist nor libertarian.
