Simple or complex?
Monetary or egalitarian?

What would be the ideal/ perfect system of human existence?
Capitalism?
Socialism?

Would we all just sit around eating fruit that grows on trees and never starve?

complex regulation. But sometimes simple = better. I am for regulation so i believe a few regulatory laws make sense. So if anything complex No communism or socialism though.

Every attempt at a perfect system has resulted in disaster. The best systems are the ones that incorporate the imperfections of man. Since we are inherently imperfect there is no system that will be perfect that has us as a part of it.

Society tends to operate with multiple systems interacting with eachother. The fact is, having one system of governance is not feasible or stable. If you look hard enough, you will see communist governments, monarchies, theocracies, democracies, etc. All within your own town.

The systems people concern themselves with are idealistic and ultimately meaningless unless they themselves are running a business.

What is more important than looking at the man made systems is looking at the meta-system. Look at the way things work, not at how things could work. Your preferred system of governance is going to be influenced by your personal biases and goals.

My opinion is this.

I believe the most counterintuitive approach to a system is to determine a static definition for how a society should be, and force that society to conform to the rubric. Our forefathers deduced this, and developed a system that accommodates amendments. Things change; everything must adapt and evolve. I'm not saying the system we have is perfect; I'm just saying that the best approach to maintaining as a society is to be open to change and embrace it when we need to.

There is none, since everyone has a different idea of what is "perfect," our ideas of a "perfect system" will all differ.

We will also likely have differences on what method we think we should use to get from where we are to there.

What do you mean by simple or complex?
What do you mean by monetary and egalitarian.
But Capitalism is A LOT better than Socialism. No question there.

Simple: Gift Economy
Complex: International Capitalism
Monetary: Involves currency
Egalitarian: Communist, everyone is equal.

Capitalism creates one end: profit.
A real system would be a perfect cycle, nothing gained or lost.
Capitalism is the opposite of that, pooling money in the few, taking it from the many.
