Well I think that he hates Obamacare because he has to. There is no other reason. And Plus, Obamacare=Romneycare. Simple.

That was darkkermit's point, Ron-Paul. Romney is just pandering to his voting base.

I know. Romney is a total idiot. He's a democrat in disguise.

No, he's not. He's very swift in his attempt to get into the white house. His poll numbers show it. He's scummy, but not an idiot.

He's a Massachusetts republican, which is to say hardly a republican. He's has tried to reach further to the right though with the presidency campaign then he did while in mass.

He only has high poll numbers because he is the only moderate in the Presidential Race. He is a democrat and he is a flip-flopper.

What do you mean by distancing himself as much as possible? He clearly supports Romneycare. How can he be distancing itself from it?

He's distancing himself from ObamaCare (for obvious reasons), and he's downplaying how much correlation exists between RomneyCare and ObamaCare. So he makes excuses like, "that plan was written with Massachussets in mind. I never said it would be good on a national scale."

Yeah right, buddy...

This pretty much defines Mitt Romney's views. He is the epitome of the Republican establishment. Can you imagine him sticking up for beliefs that weren't overwhelmingly supported by most mainstream Republicans? Contrast this with someone like Ron Paul, who will say what he believes is the truth even if he knows everyone will hate him for it, and you see why I can't freaking stand Mitt Romney. He simply goes whichever way the political wind blows...

But it's okay, because he's electable. The vast majority of Romney supporters support him for this chief reason. The logic behind it - any Republican is better than Obama. These are the people that would be perfectly content with another term of George W Bush.

Which is exactly what a Mitt Romney administration would look like. Except worse, because he's even more owned by lobbyists and Wall Street.

And the only reason why people think he's electable is because the mainstream media says so. Interesting.........

I really don't think he's a democrat at all, his views will cater to whatever will get him elected. He officially is part of the republican party but hes kinda just an all around transformer.

He is definitely a democrat, but yes, he does seem to change his stance to the topic at hand every time so it suits him best.

You know, this is what makes me laugh about the whole thing. I don't understand how he can seriously try to shove this excuse down anybody's throat. Out of curiosity does anyone see a shred of logic behind why he would take this position?
